และเพลงนี้คือที่มาของละครเวที เรื่องใหม่ที่จะเกิดขึ้นบนเวทีเมืองไทยรัชดาลัยเธียร์เตอร์
And this song is the beginning of the new musical which will take place at Muang Thai Rachadalai Theatre.

“Lom Hay Jai the musical,” the first musical that will be the first meeting of 2 ‘Boy’, Boy – Takolkiart Weerawan, a famous director and producer, and Boyd Gosiyapong, a proficient music composer.

“ในการทำ “ลมหายใจ เดอะมิวสิคัล” คุณบอย ถกลเกียรติ ให้ข้อคิดที่น่าสนใจว่า ปรกติการทำละครเวทีมิวสิคัลซักเรื่อง เราจะคิดเรื่องก่อนแล้วค่อยคิดเพลง แต่การทำละครเพลงแบบ jukebox ต้องคิดจากเพลงเป็นหลักแล้วค่อยสร้างเป็นเนื้อเรื่อง พอเราไปคุยกับทีมเขียนบท ทุกคนก็อยากทำ เพราะทุกคนชอบและโตมากับเพลงของคุณบอยด์ จากนั้นก็ต้องมานั่งลิสต์รายชื่อเพลงที่คุณบอยด์ โกสิยพงษ์แต่งไว้ ซึ่งมีเยอะมาก แต่เพลงที่เราเลือกมาใช้ในเรื่องนี้ จะเน้นเฉพาะเพลงฮิตที่เป็นที่รู้จักกันเป็นอย่างดี” ชยากร สุทินศักดิ์ โปรดิวเซอร์ และผู้พัฒนาโครงการนี้ตั้งแต่จุดเริ่มต้นกล่าว
“Khun Boy Takonkiet Viravan gave us an interesting advice on making “Lom Hay Jai the musical” that we, generally, have to create the story before creating the songs in making any musicals; yet, making the musical in jukebox style, we have to think about the songs before creating the story. After we talked to making plot team, all of them wanted to do this project because everyone like and grew up with Boyd Gosiyapong’s songs. Then we started listing names of the songs Khun Boyd composed. A great number of them! The songs that we’ve chosen to use in this musical are the popular and well-known songs,” said Chayakorn Suthinsuk, producer and a person who develop this project since the beginning.

“เราพัฒนาโปรเจคต์นี้ไปเรื่อยๆ โดยไม่ต้องมีเวลาเป็นตัวบังคับ เพื่อหาแนวทางที่จะลงตัวไปกับเพลง เพราะละครเวทีแบบนี้ เราต้องวิเคราะห์และตีความแต่ละเพลงว่าน่าจะนำมาผูกเป็นเรื่องได้อย่างไร ก็มานั่งวิเคราะห์กันว่าเพลงของบอยด์ โกสิยพงษ์ ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพลงรักด้านบวก ดังนั้นแนวทางของเรื่องที่ควรจะเป็นก็คือ เรื่องราวของความรักที่สวยงาม เป็นความรักที่ให้กำลังใจ ก็พัฒนากันไปหลายพล็อตมาก จนมาลงตัวที่เรื่องราวของเพื่อนกลุ่มหนึ่งที่รักและผูกพันกันมานาน แต่เมื่อคนหนึ่งในกลุ่มที่มีความสำคัญมากจากไป แล้วคนที่เหลืออยู่จะมีชีวิตต่อไปอย่างไร ซึ่งพอเราเอาพล็อตนี้ไปเสนอพี่บอย ถกลเกียรติ แล้วพี่เขาชอบเราก็กลับมาพัฒนากันต่อ”
“We gradually develop this project as we have no deadline in order to find a way that is appropriate the most for the songs because this kind of musical needs careful analyzing and interpreting how to make a story from the songs. Analyzing, we found that most of Boyd’s songs are positive love songs. Therefore, the story should be a story of beautiful love and heartening love. We made many plots. Eventually, the best one is the story about a group of friends that has been true friends for very long time. When the important one of them has gone, how the others will live? We then proposed this plot to Boy Takonkiet, and he liked it. After that, we continued doing the project.”

“เรื่องราวจะเกิดขึ้นที่ผับแห่งหนึ่งที่เชียงใหม่ โดยมีตัวละครสำคัญ5คน ที่ผูกพันกับที่แห่งนี้ นั่นคือ มอส, นิโคล, แก้ม เดอะสตาร์, ต๊งเหน่ง รัดเกล้า อามาระดิษ, และออฟ ปองศักดิ์ ถ้าสังเกตดีๆจะเห็นว่า นักแสดงทั้ง5คนนี้ มีความสามารถทั้งการร้องเพลงและการแสดง เพราะละครเรื่องนี้เราให้ความสำคัญกับการร้องเพลงบนเวทีมากพอๆกับการแสดง”
“The story happens in a pub in Chiang Mai. There are 5 important characters that have good memories with this place: Mos, Nicole, Gam the star, Tongneng Rudklao Armaradit, and Aof Pongsuk. These 5 performers are very good at both singing and acting because we think live singing on the stage is as important as acting.”

“ส่วนเพลงที่เราเลือกมานั้น เราจะพยายามรักษาเนื้อหาของเพลงเอาไว้อย่างครบถ้วน แต่อาจมีการเรียบเรียงดนตรีใหม่ เพื่อให้เพลงที่เลือกมานั้นกลมกลืนไปกับเนื้อเรื่องให้มากที่สุด”
“We’ve tried to keep all meaning of the songs. We rearrange some of the melodies to make them suitable for the story.”

“แน่นอนว่าเราจะใช้เพลงอย่างลมหายใจ, หยุด, โปรดเถอะ, บุษบา, Live and learn, ช่วงที่ดีที่สุด, คนข้างล่าง และอีกกว่า10บทเพลงของคุณบอยด์ โดยเฉพาะ เพลง ‘ฤดูที่แตกต่าง’ เป็นเพลงแรกๆที่เรารู้สึกเลยว่าต้องมี เพราะเป็นเพลงที่มีเนื้อหาที่ดีและให้กำลังใจซึ่งเข้ากับธีมหลักของเรื่อง”
“Without any doubts, we chose the famous good songs such as Lom-Hay-Jai, Yood, Prod-The, Boossaba, Live and Learn, Chuang-Tee-D-Tee-Sud, Kon-Khang-Lang, and other more than 10songs of Boyd. Rue-Du-Tee-Tak-Tang (season change) is the first one we chose because it’s very beautiful song with beautiful meaning, and it’s also heartening song that is the same as the theme of the story.”

“Breath” is the coming back of Mos-Pattiparn Pataweekarn, who has proved his ability acting and singing in “Fa Ja Rod Sai the musical” before. We believe that so many people have been waiting for his new role as a performer in another musical.

Aof-Pongsuk is the famous singer who has played in many TV dramas. This musical will be his new challenge.
